Contest Squee!
I just learned last night that Glorious finaled in the 2007 Maggie Contest (Georgia Romance Writers). I am so thrilled! I am considering attending GRW's Moonlight and Magnolias Conference at the end of September. I hadn't planned on going because it's my husband's birthday, but he's the one who suggested I go. Anyone else going?

Darcy, you must go. I finalled in the maggies in 2004, and there is NOTHING that beats the moment they announced my name as the winner and I got to go up there and get my award...

Squee! Congrats Darcy!!!!! I wasn't planning on going, but they tell me the finalists get a discounted registration. And Twist finaled in the Single Title Category. Have you decided to go? I'm mulling it over. I'd love to see you take home that medallion!

Bill, DH would love to come, but we have two little kids who will be in school. I do believe he'll be joining me in San Francisco next summer for at least part of the National conference. I'm very lucky to have such a supportive guy. :-)
