Trysting
This is for research purposes only, you realize.
What is the most interesting or out-there place your characters have trysted?
Mine must be the forest. I have a scene where the h/h get it on outside her bedroom window. Sure, they could've gone up to her room, but who can wait, when passion strikes? In my current writing exercise, the h/h are going to get it on inside a club bathroom. Yeah, it's dirty, but who doesn't like a little dirty now and then?
(If your answer is "not me," don't answer. Then you'll make me feel dirty, and that is so not the intent of this post :-)

Now, to answer the question: Since I don't write romance per se, I don't generally do love scenes, but I'd have to say the oddest place I've written any romantically inclined scenes was in front of a recently torched observatory.

Congratulations to you all! Can not believe it has been a year! And what a year. The Mavens have shown such growth in your craft.
I just realized that both Glorious and Her Wicked Ways have love scenes in a barn/stable. Hmmm, what does that say? And both have love scenes with not-beds-furniture as props.
I'm fairly certain there will be at least one love scene outdoors in Their Wicked Bargain, since she's an outoorsy girl.

In a car. Not very orginal but it really worked in the scene. :)
In a published book? In a secret society tomb.
In an unpublished book -- a glass studio, a bakery, a haunted house, a boat, a balcony... things get a little wild in those under the bed manuscripts...
